Some features, including mobile notifications, remote control, video streaming, and recording, depend on a working internet and Wi-Fi connection. Up to 3 hours of recording are available, and a Nest Aware or Nest Aware Plus subscription (sold separately) provides extended video history.

Controlled by the Google Assistant, this battery-powered camera connects via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and operates within a temperature range of -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to 40°C).

Check in 24/7 with 1080p HDR video and night vision, and review up to 3 hours of event history for free. Add a Nest Aware subscription for up to 60 days of video storage. If your Wi-Fi or power goes down, Nest Cam can store up to an hour of recorded events.

The Nest Cam Outdoor model comes with a wall plate for easy brick mounting. Place the battery-powered Nest Cam anywhere, as it doesn't require an outlet. The magnetic mount simplifies installation. For continuous power and 24/7 recording with Nest Aware Plus, purchase a weatherproof power cable or indoor stand with power cable (sold separately).

Stream your Nest Cam's live video hands-free on compatible smart displays with Google Assistant, as well as on Amazon Alexa-enabled smart displays, TVs, and tablets. Nest Cam requires the Google Home app and a free Google account - it's not compatible with the Nest app or website.
